Few months back Google announced that it will provide free internet via WiFi to 100 railway stations in India. Recently, it is prepping to put this thought into action. As per Google, this facility is provided with support of Real Teal whose monthly users have reached 50 lac and it is increasing at a rate of 15000/yearly.

Google’s initiative has been warmly welcomed and many people use it for educational, informational and sometimes entertainment purpose.

According to a subscriber, he daily goes to Jaipur railway station, where he gets access to speedy internet, download some educational content, which his daughter learns and also teaches to his wife.

Google is aiming to spread this internet to 400 railway stations.
