Google has introduced Android based Operating System platform for Internet of Things. The best thing about the platform is that developers can easily modify their apps based on internet of things.

Currently, Android Things is available as developers preview at development board with Rasberry Pi 3, Edison, NXP Pico.

According to Google, despite the initial stages of platform, developers can access famous tools like Android Studio, SD, Play Services and Google Cloud Platform.

Google has also revealed that it is working for Weave support, which is platform that connect device to Google services via internet of things.

Currently, Weave Desk SDK is supporting Light Bulb, Smart Plugs, switches, thermostats. In coming months it will add to more things.
