Google announced in I/O Conference in May that it will introduce Android Apps support in OS. After that in June Google introduced Developer Channel in Chrome Box. Now Google is a valid Channel.

This will be included in next few days in Acer Book R 11 and Asus Chrome Book Flip for Chrome OS v53.0. 2785.129 beta version.

This enables the users to download app while using the Chrome Book. According to Google, by the end of the year many Chrome OS based machines will have application store.

However, as most of the application and games are for touchscreens and do not support laptops but they will converged in a way to support this.
