Google Allo reaches 5 million downloads

Despite few concerns on how Google Allo can be unique, the app has reached five million downloads since its launch last week. Much of the hype is pre-fueled when app was in its testing phase and rumors for it were whirling around aggressively. Allo, however, has proved less subtle in its journey for achieving this milestone whereas its counterpart video based Duo is not working well download-wise.

The O/I has made it obvious for most of the part. Still there are bigger concerns to raise when it comes to security whereby how the AI Assistant features tracks information to be more anticipating for the user. With many question remain unanswered it is also challenging that how Google will make Allo and Duo to show presence in crowded market of designated apps.

The big ventures like YouTube, WhatsApp and Snapchat are already scoring high on usage numbers, it is now the battle of Allo to struggle achieving and breaking the mark of 800 million users achieved by Facebook messenger and application of sort that proves to be the direct competitor in chat apps’ market.
