Google has previously promised to introduce more languages in Allo and certainly is doing it. This one of the widely spoken language and is close to Urdu. Hindi in the World have now 310million speakers. Also the company launches Smart Reply feature that let the users’ text quickly with suggested responses.

“We are enthused by this and today’s launch enables us to extend these features to the next millions of users in a language of their choice,” Amit Fulay, Group Product Manager, Google said in a press statement.

Google has huge foothold in the mobile market in India with 97% share and over 41% people in India speaks Hindi. A very small fraction of people are proficient in English.

The feature for Hindi in Allo will roll out soon. Allo users have to say “Talk to me in Hindi”, voice command or change the default language setting of their device to Hindi.
