Exynos 8890 now enters mass production, S7 will unveil earlier than February

Despite of the rumors that Exynos 8890 will enter mass production in December, the latest news from South Korea is that the tech giant has already started making it. With Exynos coming in the news, it can be predicted that S7 will launch in February following the official unveil in January. The company will also rely on SD 820 version as well.

According to new set of rumors, Samsung will produces as many Exynos 8890 powered-handset of S7 as it will Snapdragon 820. For S6, the company preferred its in-house chipset solution to Qualcomm’s due to overheating issues rumored in 810.

The Exynos 8890 is also called M1 or Mongoose and it is the first with custom-designed CPU cores.
