“Today has vbeen an extraordinary day for the launch of the @BBMobile #KEYone here in North America. Demand has been extremely high & it’s encouraging to see this level of excitement and momentum around our BlackBerry smartphone launch. We understand customers are facing issues with stock outs when trying to purchase their #KEYone… We’re working closely with our retail partners, ensuring additional stock is available ASAP so they can fulfill customer orders.”

Cistulli admits customers can grab the KEYone as they are seemingly flying off the shelves of the stores. Interestingly, Amazon has sold out of the KEYone already in CDMA and GSM flavors. Now KEYone has emerged as the “#1 Best Seller” device in Amazon USA for unlocked cellphones. In addition, Best Buy is sold out of the phone on its site as well.

BlackBerry has seen great demand in Canada already as the KEYone got the privilege to be the highest pre-ordered BlackBerry ever at Rogers prior to its release. Way to go BlackBerry and TCL!
