A very interesting smartphone with Pepsi theme will be soon launched by PepsiCo. This is confirmed by PepsiCo while unveiling it to the Reuters that it will introduce a Pepsi themed line up and accessories in China.

PepsiCo is likely to look for the licensing partner for the venture. The name of the first smartphone has already been decided that is Pepsi P1.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Pepsi P1 will likely to run on a MediaTek MT6592 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Further it has a 5.5-inch 1080p display. Camera-wise, it has a 13MP main camera and 5MP front-facing unit. It is powered by 3,000mAh battery. Also, Pepsi P1 will run Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The peculiarly themed smartphone is likely to come in China later this month and it will set you back for $205 price tag. However, there is no news yet on diet version of the handsets.
