OnePlus two has been revealed today, that is what the latest teaser informs us about the device. But now we are getting a piece of information straight from company’s CEO. The new statement by Pete Lau reveals that the OnePlus 2 will be priced under $450.

The figure is still quite alarming if see OnePlus One’s initial pricing of $299 (for the base model with 16GB of storage). In addition to this, this handset is now at $249, which clearly depicts OnePlus 2 quite a premium device as compared to OnePlus One.

We can relate it to the chipset andOnePlus has already explained this. The company chose Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 for the job, which apparently is significantly more expensive than the 801 used in the OnePlus One.

The OnePlus 2 will come with fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port and will be officially released on July 27 in virtual reality.
