Known as Bixby Voice, the Bixby digital assistant by Samsung had made its debut right after the release of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus back in March this year. Back then, it was primarily launched for South Korea, and then it made its way to the USA.

However, it was only in August that Samsung had begun to provide the Bixby Voice around the world. It has now finally landed in India as well.

According to the company sources, Bixby Voice will be able to support several Indian accents, and therefore it will also be able to capture and adapt the different contexts and dialects used in India. Moreover, even those people in India, who opt for English (US) as primary language, will be able to easily use this assistant.

Samsung India’s executive was thus heard saying “Keeping in mind the diversity in Indian accents and our commitment to ‘Make for India’, Bixby has been optimized to understand Indian accents.”
