Samsung has confirmed officially the launch date of its flagship Galaxy Note 8 for India. This is going to be released on September 12. The company has also revealed that the preorders for the phone will begin in South Korea too from today.

The launch event in India will begin at 12:30PM IST and can be watched live online by the consumers in India through the Newsroom website links of Samsung.

The device is already live for the pre-registrations in India and while it will be launched on September 12, the regular sales will begin from September 25 across the country.

It has also been reported that the home country of Samsung will also get pre-orders from September 15, and general availability will begin from September 21. The price for 64GB variant of Note 8 in South Korea will be $960.
