Though Asus previously announced that it will launch Zenfone 3 Deluxe in Canada, but now it seems there is change of plans. Those who were waiting the brand to launch its handset, will no more get the device. Asus did not explain the reason behind the cancellation of launch.

In the same news, it was stated that US residents could purchase the same handset but cannot buy the standard model. So basically Canadians will get Zenfone 3 but American s will only get the Deluxe version.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with some hefty specs over its standard model. It has 5.7-inch display carrying full HD (1080p) resolution. Powering the handset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and inside is 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe was likely to set you back for $699 CAD in Canada, while in US the smartphone is priced at $500 outright. So even if you find device listed at various retailers in Canada still there is little chance of it hitting the shelves.
