Asus Zenfone 3 family has expanded. Previously it introduced three phones Asus Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. Now it has added two more phones to the lineup dubbed Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max. Asus announced the smartphones in an event held Vietnam. The event did not mention enough information about the handset.

Asus announced Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser is as the name suggest is the successor of Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. The device has 13MP PixelMaster 3.0 camera that uses Sony IMX214 sensor. It also has 0.03 second generation laser autofocus system. Camera does not only include color correction sensor but also EIS feature. The rest of the specs include 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and a fingerprint sensor. The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser will set you back for around $268.

However, Zenfone 3 Max has 4100mAh battery which is far less than 5000mAh battery of base model Asus Zenfone Max. It has 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen. The specs include 3GB RAM, 32GB native memory and quick fingerprint sensor. Zenfone 3 Max is around $210.

There is no news on launch and availability of the devices outside Vietnam.
