Recently, a video is making rounds online which shows an iPhone 7 gold color variant catching fire. This trending in Twitter and other social media networks and shared over 25,000 times.

A person with name Bree on Twitter, says that it was not due to charging because the iPhone 7 Plus had no charger round. Initially, the smoke was sensed and later the metal casing burnt with smoke coming out. 

This shows there was no issue with the battery, however, iPhone might report on the reason of matter. Notably, nobody was hurt and there were no property damages.

Apple also contacted Bree and is working upon the matter. iPhones are also found heated up during extreme weather conditions.
