After the addition of big screen sized iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus phablet in its portfolio, Apple is now working at launching “mini” iPhone 6 this year. Apple had previously managed to sell smartphones up to 4 inches that are easily pocketable, perfectly usable with one hand, still good for checking emails, social media, and chatting.  Now you may wonder what Apple is now up to with its new iPhone mini. The rumor, which was heard around 10 days ago, claims that iPhone 6 mini or alleged mini version was planned when analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company sent an obvious statement to investors, stating that Apple is working on a possible “mini” iPhone. The prime stake of the mini phone is its comparison with the other 4 inches screened devices e.g iPhone 5. The real tug of confusion would be the device’s quality and price against its competitor within the brand itself. Low price means low tier hardware and compromise with features which would end up in low-end mini phone in the presence of classy yet convenient ones. The question is whether this would give the Apple the market dominance amidst already dominating handsets it has. Also, is it possible that customers prefer small-sized screen with less powerful handset. What we find believable is Apple might want to go with 4 inches screened phones instead of completely abandoning handy-sized Phones.
