It seems that Google is in the race of upgrading the Android technology so as to give the consumer best and the latest possible. Google has provided a few days earlier Android5.0.1 update to couple of smartphones including Nexus 5 and 6. Now the Android 5.0.2 factory image is available for Nexus 7. In addition to this, the update is being sent out to OTA to the OG Nexus7. The build number of the update is LRX22G. The 2012 Nexus 7 is directly receiving the 

update skipping Android 5.0.1. This could indicate that it will be a device-specific update intended to fix those issues that troubled the OG Nexus 7.
