Sony has announced early the Android initiative it has taken for the Android-based smartphone it has, which will be upgraded to Marshmallow. Initially the Beta testing version was run over 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is now on roll out to all Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact.
The build will also roll out to other devices in coming weeks, so don’t get impatient if you aren’t getting any update. The company will also ask for invitation due to “Fevered Interest” that the testing offer has injected. Sadly if you did not get the invite previously, hopefully you will get it this time.
The test period is only limited to few countries namely Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany.
In order to enter the testing competition you have to run in to Concept Sign-up app; it’s first come-first serve basis, so “make sure you move quickly before they’re all gone,” the company said.
