Lumia 950 does not come alone. As promised, it appeared in the event along with its big brother Lumia 950 XL. The XL device is primarily to replace two years old Lumia 1520 and features the same Purview to regain its lost glory.

The screen is big with 6-Inches with 1080 LCD to hold entire Menu and likewise 950 features AMOLED with Glance screen. Just like its little sibling it packs the 20MP Purview sensor (1/2.4″) accompanying Carl Zeiss (f/1.9 lens).

Lumia 950 XL is now official.

It can capture the same 2160 video where 5^th generation OIS and triple LED flash facilitate the compactness. Moreover, these are RGB LEDs too, elevating low-light shots. Further there is 5MP front-snapper with LED Flash unlike Lumia 950.

It has a beefy 3,340mAh battery and the latest Qi wireless charging. You can charge 50% battery in half an hour. Further, it has USB Type-C connector which can multitask easily to enhance data mobility.

Lumia 950 XL will be powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset (four Cortex-A57 cores humming at 2GHz, and four A53s ticking at 1.5GHz). The chipset is treated with liquid coolant that diminishes overheating issues. Further the device comes with Adreno 430 and 3GB RAM. Plus the new Windows Hello feature using front-facer to identify the owner and unlock the device is a much awaited among user.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will be priced at $650, will start selling next month. There will be a dual-SIM version as well if you are looking forward to it.
