WhatsApp is considered the biggest website for messaging in the World.  The sad news for the users of this app are that it will not be available in old mobile phone models by the end of 2016. Due to this, subscribers of old mobile phones model will be unable to use this service.

This announcement was made after Facebook cancelled its support for old models. During February, 2016, WhatsApp announced to discontinue it services for BlackBerry OS, BB 10, Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60, Android 2.1, Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7 and iPhone 3GS by the end of year.

If you have any of this phone currently in use, the best advice will be to buy updated version of phone by the end of 2016.

In the official blog WhatsApp verified that will extend its duration for this discontinuation on BlackBerry OS, BB 10, Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60, Android 2.1, Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7 and iPhone 3GS.
