Upcoming Windows 10 new build will support more smartphone devices

  admin

Microsoft has announced that its new build for Windows 10 will work on more smartphones. “I get a ton of questions every day on Twitter about when your favorite phones will be usable, and I’m happy to report that the vast majority will be supported with the next flight,” posted Windows Insider manager Gabriel Aul.

The previously released build only supported a limited number of handsets. For this company had to choose from the devices that had sufficient system partition sizes aligned by the manufacturer. This problem has been resolved by introducing a feature “partition stitching” which helps re-size the system partition dynamically and hence work for larger number of phones.

“If, during our testing, we find a device specific bug it may be pulled from the list,” Aul also posted.
