Microsoft officially starts roll out of Windows 10 for older devices.

The big thing has finally starting to roll out and this time there will be no push back and this is not a dream. Microsoft has finally brought forward the real deal. Microsoft has finally announced the roll out of its Windows 10 to the older smartphones that are currently running Windows 8.1. Microsoft has just started its final roll out after a lot of testing and you should soon be expecting the updates following the roll out.

The update is headed to different smartphones at different updates. It will roll out to Lumia 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, MCJ Madosma Q501.

But for most of the OTA you need to install windows 10 for your device. You should also download Microsoft UpdateAdvisor App. This will confirm that an update is just to start. One you open it, it does start telling you that update is ready to install. One you are ready to install it, press done.

With the procedure above, going to setting to do the same is a baseless question. Once you have received your OTA on phone, you just need to follow the aforementioned process to complete your up gradation. If you have Lumia, you might get the update sooner than expected but nothing is 100% confirm in this regard. Any other brand with Windows 8.1 could be evenly sooner. Whatever happens, one thing for sure is that Windows 10 is finally on a roll out to windows-powered handsets.
