  MPC Team

Apple has recently revealed the adoption numbers for its very own iOS 11. According to the recent data, about 59% of the currently running iDevices have been running on iOS 11. When it was measured back in November, the adoption rate was about 52%.

However, almost 1/3rd of the iPads, iPhones as well as iPod Touch are still running on iOS 10, and about 8% of the Apple iDevices are still running on the older versions of iOS. As the image above suggests, a very small part of the total has been taken up by iPhone 5C, 4th gen iPod Touch and 3rd gen iPads, which are not getting any sort of software updates anymore.

These new readings were taken by the App Store on 4th December 2017. It should also be known that iOS 11 was released back in September, and currently it has got two major updates and iOS 11.2 is already out for installation.
