Xiaomi has finally launched at a planned event at New Delhi starting 4PM. The Xiaomi Mi 4i is the more affordable alternative with polycarbonate unibody.The smartphone packs 5.0″ Full HD OGS IPS display. The panel features adaptive brightness technology, named Sunlight display, which improves screen visibility when outside. The Snapdragon 615 has been inserted instead of Snapdragon 801. Though it is less powerful, but offers an important upgrade over the previous chip – it is 64-bit. It is further coupled with octa-core Cortex-A53 cores humming at 1.7 GHz and the other four at 1.1 GHz. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and an onboard storage is 16GB. For graphics it is using Adreno 405.Xiaomi Mi 4i offers dual-SIM and is LTE-enabled. There’s also dual-band MU-MIMO Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac support as well. The handset is powered by a 3,120 mAh battery. It will be available is white, blue, black, yellow and pink colors. It exact dimensions are 138.1 mm x 69.6 mm x 7.8 mm, and weighs in at 130 g, making it smaller and lighter than the Mi 4. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop so you get a really up-to-date experience.The smartphone is priced at INR 12,999 which is around $205, when it launches on April 30 on Flipkart. Registrations has started. There is no news on international availability as yet.
