Last month Sony announced Xperia Z4v exclusively for Verizon. It is an enhanced version of the Z3+ which will be exclusive to the carrier nicknamed Big Red. This policy aligns directly with Z3v from last year, so it’s no surprise really.

A few important things that were not unveiled by Sony also include release date which has now been given by the firm and this comes to be August 13. Sony official microsite has published this news so there is rare chance of ambiguity. Having said, we can’t imagine it will be cheap given its high-end specs.

The Z4v packs a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen, and runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a 20 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP Selfie shooter. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
