Sony Xperia E1 is an entry-level smartphone launched a year ago. Recently the next iteration of the smartphone has been spotted on Spanish Retail chain. Astonishingly, it won’t be called Xperia E2 or something more or less rather it would be named as Xperia E1 II. Though by the appearance, the new phone doesn’t make much of difference but a lot of has been upgraded internally. Apparently, it  still has a 4-inch screen, but this time it’s got aresolution of 540 x 960 pixels instead of 480 x 800px. The dual-core 1.2GHz processor has been upgraded to a quad-core 1.3GHz one or either 1.4GHz. There is an upgrade of 5MP in camera as compared to 3MP of the original model. The front camera is 2MP. There is 1GB RAM and 8GB on-board storage which is double the previous storage capacity. The Xperia E1 II runs Android 4.4.

It is expected that the Xperia E1 II will be announced at upcoming MWC, 2015 which is not less than a month away.
