Sony will not left its space empty at MWC 2017. We have learned UAProf (user agent profile) documents that the company is looking to launch two handsets accompanying MediaTek Helio P20 chipset.

Today, another report surfaces purporting the upcoming Sony G3221, which confirms the previous rumors that device will launch with an octa-core MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 processor.

An Xperia smartphone with model number G3221 has recently been spotted at AnTuTu. Further, it features specs like Mali-T880 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and full HD (1080p) resolution display whose size is unknown.

The story is not over yet, the phone will have Sony’s hallmark features like 23MP rear-facing unit, coupled with an amazing 16 MP shooter at the front.

The handset G3221 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Hopefully, among others, this will be the first Sony phone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat.
