The current banging news is that Galaxy S6 first showcase has been announced. A senior official reported in Korean Media that S6 will debut on March 2, 2015 at MWC in Barcelona. S6 has been quite under discussion from the last quarter of 2014. Initially, it was rumored to appear around or in CES but later as the Sammy kept its mouth shut nobody seemed to be gossiping about its actual launch date anymore. But suddenly after a long pause a jump in situation has been made. And hopefully this jump will bring smiles to a lot of Sammy’s lovers. Significant news published by Bloomberg is that Samsung will not use Snapdragon 810 in Galaxy S6 due to overheating issues. Though, they have been resolved still Samsung is going for in-house chipset. Chipsets are designed to deliver the quad Cortex-A57 and quad Cortex-A53 that the Snapdragon 810 promises, but with a Mali GPU instead of Adreno. This is aimed at more self-reliance than avoiding chipset issues. Lastly this news can be a little bit demoting as the Samsung S6 and its edge variant were expected to be water-resistant. But now it has been officially confirmed that both S6 and S6 edge will not be water-resistant.
