Skype has announced to discontinue its TV app service. According to media reports a statement on the Skype Blog has made it clear that now the usage of Skype has changed. People now prefer to use Skype on mobile devices.

The statement said that keeping this in mind, during this year, the App will be discontinued from Smart TVs.
