Samsung collaborates with the retailers having NFC based POS systems and those using Magnetic Secure Transmissions (MST) for mobile payment feature. As the World’s 90 percent retailers use mobile payment system, Samsung has an edge over Apple Pay and Android Pay to provide its services everywhere as MST can work anywhere.

Samsung will give you free gifts for activating Samsung Pay on Note 5 and S6 edge+.

Samsung is now offering a free gift to those with Samsung Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ using one credit card with any of two. You just need to activate mobile payment system with credit card, Sammy will send you a free flip case, or a free wireless charger.

To receive the gift, after activating the card, choose option “more” in the top right hand corner of the screen. Click on “announcements” and then choose “Samsung Pay Activation Offer”. Currently, the only cards that will work with Samsung Pay are American Express, Bank of America, Citi card, or US Bank card. The offer is valid till October 11, 2015.
