Samsung has been reported for hiring audience for the launch of S6 and S6 edge in China. The news reports that Samsung hired half of audience that attended the press conference. Samsung hired people under 30 who look like students and pretend to be the fans of Samsung. However, Samsung dismissed these rumors and said the whole story is “totally groundless and bogus.”

Samsung claimed it has over 1000 attendees and all of them are officially invited on the eve in Shanghai. Samsung also further mentioned that the company reporting it later found the article erroneous and removed it.

Samsung is facing fierce competition against the local market in China with the emergence of affordable yet tech-savvy market. This rumors might be the result of successful launch of Sammy which means holding the lost grounds again while introducing the S6 and S6 edge.
