The concept relies on a set of discrete elements that move relative to one another thus forming a curvature. The element is moved by the links in such a way that they both form convex and concave shapes.

The patented device is a logical extension of Samsung on going work with flexible displays. However, a lot of time requires to develop a technology like that into a reality so do not hope to find it anytime early.
