The success of Galaxy S6 and S6 Dual edged has paved way for more dual edged devices by Samsung. Recently the next Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to have the Dual edged variant. The handsets are expected to launch at IFA expo in September, 2015, but the dual edged version is still not confirmed by any source. Lately Note 4 has been launched with an edged variant. Though a lot has been said about the successor but the edged variant is now thought to be highly unlikely.

Samsung Next Galaxy Note Might Not Come With Dual Edged Variant.

The way S6 edge has proved to be success creates a lot of hype for edged devices in the market but frankly the Note Edge comes quite different to the recent technology. Its curve is quite different from the one on the S6 edge and represents a slightly different design approach – employing what is essentially a separate screen on the side. Since then Samsung is quite on a different direction, so, we don’t really expect to see anything quite like the Note edge any time soon.

We also know that Note Edge is neither mass produced nor mass marketed and was also launched is select markets so it has proved a no hero to be designed again. However, with projects going on like Project Valley which will open era of foldable devices, there is always a room for surprise.

Even if the Note 5 arrives without any dramatic changes, rumors still suggest that it is going to be one amazing device with a 5.89-inch UHD display, an Exynos 7422 chipset, 4100 mAh battery and all the productivity goodies the Note series offers.
