Recently we have been reading all over the Samsung news-rumor room that a big brother of S6 or sibling of Galaxy S6 Edge is in works codenamed as Project Zen or Zero and might be dubbed S6 Plus for that matter.

Galaxy S6 Plus Might Be Called S6 Note

The news, however, turns out to be right but a trademark registration has opened the matter more clearly introducing an alternative name. Yes, Samsung has recently registered for trademark with S6 Note and it seems that device in talks is the same as mentioned earlier. Now it is either to protect form any other manufacturer taking up this name which is least likely to happen, or a commercial name of project Zero 2 Phone, revealed now.

The rumor still claims S6 Note to be 5.7-inch, dual-edged and will launch running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which at the moment is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. The launch is expected to happen anytime in third quarter. It should be in July rather than later as to avoid cannibalizing the sales on Note 5 that is going to launch in September this year.
