The first Nokia handset, Nokia 6, is now official.

Very recently, we disclosed you a packaging that reveals specs of alleged D1C. We were hoping this to release anytime soon. Interestingly, HMD Global has unveiled the same phone but with name Nokia 6. HMD Global has exclusive licensing rights to use the brand name of Nokia for its phones.

The first Nokia handset, Nokia 6, is now official.

The Nokia 6 comes with 5.5-inch screen with 2.5D glass with resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). Under the hood, is the modest Snapdragon 430 chipset with octa-core CPU and Adreno 505 GPU. Inside is the Nokia 6 4GB RAM and Nokia 6 64GB internal memory.

Camera-wise, it has Nokia 6 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection with Laser Autofocus, while the front-facer is 8MP unit with f/2.0 aperture, and captures amazing selfies and handle video chats.

The phone will come out this year exclusive to JD.com. The Nokia 6 handset will sell at $245 USD. HMD chose China to the launch region due to immense population of smartphone users who are both design and value conscious.
