The Galaxy S6 needs a very little introduction as the users and prospective audience have experienced this ultra-popular device by themselves or in experience stores by now. This has so far proved a real show by the South Korean company to its direct competitors like Apple and LG. Samsung has no more manufactured a featured-packed phone in a plastic body but its metal-glass combination with amazing specs that talk for itself.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has brought with itself 5.1-inch display, a home-grown chipset which is the powerhouse of processor and a highly capable 16MP rear camera. But there is not everything positive. Samsung has left quite a things which were the core demand of consumers in its handsets. Firstly, the S6 lacks microSD card.So for those who were fan of extra storage may give it a thought before buying this handset. But still you have multiple built-in storage option for S6, you can buy any of them. Secondly, there is also a non-removable battery while we live in a world where consumers believe in removable ones. And last we have a non-water-resistant handset in our hands when we purchase it. But I can assure you it is still worth buying the handset as it has the real intent of both to feel good in hands and superb in usage.

Smooth Gorilla Glass 4 front and rear, and aluminium alloy bands on the sides, means, looks and feels like flagship phone. Unlike last year’s S5, the S6 feels like it’s worth over £500/$684.99 and that’s important.Design-wise it has a bulging rear camera that protrudes like a break-out on the face of an unfortunate teenager. Some people might be bothered while others would never care as the handset easily slips in and out of pocket that you might need to keep it in a case or a textured body.

The Screen is sharp and is 5.1-inch AMOLED display which mean the black appears perfectly black. Moreover, Samsung TouchWiz UI allows to adjust the display colors to fit in user preference. The Photos and videos just look fantastic. Both indoors usage and outdoor functionality, esp. in sunlight show the same results. Only Apple’s iPhone 6 is the benchmark for color accuracy but the Galaxy S6 is closer to the iPhone than any other phone we’ve seen.

The arrangement of key buttons is also very convenient by Samsung for S6. The Phone is light but feels solid. Thin metal volume and power keys live in opposite sides. This is what helps avoiding pushing the power key instead of volume accidentally as in case of HTC One M9 and many other flagship models previously manufactured.  However, the speaker arrangement is bit of trouble. It is now set at the base as compared to at the back in S5. However, neither placement was good as it gets blocked with the hand easily.

Whatever we say the screen of the handset is brilliant. It looks good from every viewing angle, too, making it perfect for sharing videos and photos on. It is one department where Samsung has really worked hard and deserves the reward
