Samsung has released an updated version of Galaxy J7 Prime 2 for its Indian segment. This was done without any sort of fuss. The phone seems to be the updated version of previously launched Galaxy J7 Prime. There are a few minor changes in this edition such as the capacitive buttons.

The Samsung phone will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat along with Exynos 7 octa-core CPU. The selfie camera will be revamped, as it will now be 13MP.

The chipset in this phone is most probably going to be the same, i.e. Exynos 7870, which was also featured in the previous Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. This is also because Samsung has maintained the clock speed at 1.6 GHz same. Moreover, the other specs including RAM and internal storage and expansion capacity are maintained same, i.e. 3GB and 32GB with expansion up to 256GB, respectively. The primary camera is going to be 13MP with f/1.9 aperture. The size will also remain the same, and battery size of 3300mAh and weight of 170g will also be the same. The price of Galaxy J7 Prime 2 in India will be INR 13,990 at the time of its launch, which translates up to $215.
