Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) first appeared a month ago then surfaced on Geekbench a few week earlier. This purports naturally that device is close to its launch. However, the handset also received Wi-Fi certification recently, which means the official unveiling could be imminent.

The certification did not reveal anything about the device expect what has already been rumored. As per previous reports, the Galaxy Grand Prime has 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The rest of the specifications are still a mystery.

It is noteworthy, that the device will ship with Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box. Considering that, we doubt that Samsung will ever upgrade it to Nougat. So keep that in mind before buying the handset.

The certification, however, did reveal that handset will come in two SIM variants; single and Dual-SIM. The availability of these may vary across regions and carriers.
