We have seen the rumor mill churning for the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) for past few months. Finally, it is official in South Korea and comes as an advanced version of its predecessor with same name but a different year.

Design-wise, there are not many alteration between Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) and 2015 version. It has the same curves with metal-clad body, styled with thin and sleek look which is hallmark of A series. 

Display-wise, Samsung Galaxy A8 has 5.7-inch Super AMOLED with 1080 by 1920 pixels resolution. Although the handset carries no QHD panel, the company has done enough to sustain the sharpness of the screen.

Innards-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) comes with flagship hardware of Samsung Galaxy S6 purporting that under the hood will be Samsung Exynos 7420 chipset (with four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores and four ARM Cortex-A57 CPU cores) coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

The battery, however, if not confirmed but overall the handset has remarkable performance towards demanding tasks.
