Samsung has not been up for flip and sliders for quite a time but recently a Samsung flip has been found in works. A report has revealed an android flip being tested with powerful hardware under the hood.
The handset has a model number SM-G9198 and could launch with near-flagship level specs. The device will ship two screens options, where one will be 4.6-inch and second could be a smaller outer display. It is rumored to run a Snapdragon 808 processor. Camera department might come with 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. Furthermore, it has 2GB of RAM and16GB of storage and a rather custom version of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
We are not sure why flip is beefed with high-end specs but it seems that it will be region specific handset probably China as this is where Samsung has actually released new clamshell phones pretty regularly over the past few years.
