Rumors are Android 5.0.0 will be skipped this year from Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge.  Manufacturers are always eager to install the Android to their new systems. This is because it shows that their device is never going to get obsolete. This also makes device worthy for an investment for longer period of time from consumer point of view.

Samsung, being in the line of manufacturers, has already started offering device updates specifically for Galaxy S5 flagship. There were also concrete leaks indicating that Galaxy Note 3, Note 4, Note Edge, and Galaxy S4 all in line for the Android 5.0 update. The recent updates somehow come out different. Samsung is now working on Android 5.0.1 for Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge which means it will skip Android 5.0.0 version. The Rumors are said to be reliable as they are from Samsung Leaks.
