Samsung is previously aspiring to update many of its devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop and if you have Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 3, or Galaxy S5 you are already in the zone to get the update or have already gotten it. But one should never look forward to such update as early if the device is Galaxy S5 mini. Sammy has promised to get this version updated very soon but haven’t fulfilled any promise so far. It seems the wait would be much longer. Recent news making rounds online is that the device will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in 2^nd quarter of year 2015. The quarter will start from April and ends in June. The delay shows that manufacturer gives high priority to premium devices as compared to mid-rangers just as it did in the case of Galaxy S5 mini. However if expect S5 mini to be updated at the same time as S5, you might be disappointed.  Another confirmed news is bits that are indeed on the way but they are expected to delay for some time.
