Recent inter-brand report marked Apple as World’s Most Valuable Brand.

According to an inter-brand report, Apple has been recently given the title of World’s most valuable brand. Apple is given this title after the successful launch and sale of smartwatch and iPhone 6s. Currently the Cupertino giant is estimated at 170.276 billion US dollars.

Google came second in this race while Coca Cola finally lost its place and became third. The mobile companies has won at least 13 positions in top 100. Facebook is also present in the list where the worth jumped up to 54% in a year. One of the British Brand BurBerry came 73rd in the list.

Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss and Romeo Beckham have sold luxury clothes brand, and are currently valued at 5.873 billion US dollars.

In Car industry, the Oxford-based but German-owned company BMW, is residing on number 98 with British car maker Land Rover is listed on number 87.

Rebecca Robins, Inter-brand regional director, said:

“With an increase in brand value of 14%, Land Rover continues its ascent after entering Best Global Brands for the first time in 2014.“In a year where the values of the British brands have seen a mixed pattern, luxury continues to sustain a more consistent trajectory, with Burberry increasing its brand value by 5%.”

These ranking are solely based on financial performance of the companies, its recall in customers’ mind, and inelastic nature of the brand even when it charges high price.
