Lene Gaathaug has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resource Officer in Telenor Pakistan. It will be effective from August 2017.Lene Gaathaug will act as Vice President and she will report directly to CEO Telenor Pakistan. Ms Gaathaug will be seen in the top management of the company.
Irfan Wahab Khan, CEO Telenor Pakistan welcomed Lene and appreciated her appointment as the second female Vice President. Lene has a robust over 20 year experience in HR and legal functions. Her appointment in Telenor Pakistan is surely going to enhance HR department and make system smoother since she is a business oriented HR professional.
In 2001, Lene joined Telenor as Project Manager. Later she moved to Telenor Broadcast Holdings AS where she was HR Director for Technology and Information Security, and later for People and Organization.
In 2009, Lene worked as HR business partner for Telenor Group. She worked as Legal Advisor-Employer Role. After that, she joined Telenor GSS as VP and Head of HR in 2014.
As Telenor Pakistan is always in effort to improve its telecommunication, her appointment will see matters involving people policy, organization culture and talent acquisition. Telenor Pakistan will certainly see a boost in its talent acquisition programs which it has been running already.
