The government of Pakistan has announced to offer 3G and 4G services in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir. As per details, this is the first time government has finally announced for the provision of these services in Gilgit Baltistan and AJK. Prior to this, these services were not available at Gilgit Baltistan due to its imminence to border areas.

Also, due to the excessive use of 3G and 4G services nationwide, people of these regions requested to start these services as early as possible. Auctions were also held and finally after the Special Communication Organization’s up gradation of network in the areas, the people are really looking forward to a promising initiative for introducing 3G and 4G services.
