Today OnePlus provided an update for the Stagefright exploit for Oxygen OS for its first smartphone. The OnePlus 2 is launched outside China, which shows more complication with the predecessor.

The International shipments were made running the Cyanogen OS. But since the Cyanogen is not with any deal with OnePlus anymore, the Oxygen OS was developed to take the oath of next mobile OS of OnePlus. It has just been updated a few months ago but not relative to Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Oxygen OS has also released Stagefright update for OnePlus One

The today news is not about the Android 5.1 update, it will be the same Android 5.0 with the patch to fix Stagefright. Also, it is the whole reason why the OnePlus has pushed the Oxygen 1.0.2. There will be no new features and iteration rolled out so far.
