Obi has introduced SF1 and SJ 1.5 are new affordable handsets for emerging markets

Very recently two smartphones of Obi dubbed SF1 and SJ1 .5 have been making rounds online. These are the new entry level phones by the firm which are premium yet affordable for emerging markets. The Worldphones will be introduced in Pakistan as well as other emerging markets like UAE, India, Turkey and Vietnam among several others.

The availability details have yet not surfaced but potential buyers can sign-up at Obi’s homepage to receive a message when the phone becomes available in their country.

Worldphone SF1 has an amazingunibody design with metallic accents and “floating display”. SF1 packs 5-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution with the covering of Gorilla Glass 4. The innards contain Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM/ 3GB RAM and 16GB/32 GB RAM storage (microSD card slot, too). The phone has dual-SIM connectivity with LTE support. Camera-wise, it has a 13MP Sony camera and a 5MP front shooter. It has a powerful 3,000mAh battery.

The Phone will set you back for PKR. 20,000 for the 2GB/16GB version and PKR. 25,000 for the 3GB/32GB version.

Worldphone SJ1.5 will arrive 5-inch 720p display with dual-SIM capability with only 3G connectivity.

THE SJ 1.5 Mediatek quad-core processor accompanied with 1GB of RAM. It has 16GB of built-in storage with microSD expansion. It runs Lollipop 5.1. In camera department, it has an 8MP OmniVision rear camera and there’s a 5MP front camera. The SJ1.5 will be powered by 3,000 mAh battery

The phone will just cost you PKR.  13,000 with the Android Lollipop covered in Obi’s own Lifespeed UI.
