In case you are mistaken for what Nokia plans for its come back, here is the good news. The company has finally confirmed in a slide of Nokia Market Day 2016 that next year represents “Nokia’s brand return of smartphone”.

Nokia will be back in 2017

Most importantly, this time Nokia won’t be the manufacturer rather it will collaborate with Finnish company HMD Global, and Taiwanese giant Foxconn. Moreover,  Nokia executives will lead HDM in  “developing, marketing and selling Nokia-branded phones and accessories”. Foxconn is also dealing with R&D and manufacturing. Nokia has also contacted a renowned agency for its marketing and advertising.

The first Nokia handset as a matter of fact would be D1C, which will be powered by Android 7 Nougat offering mid-tier specs like 1080p display, a Snapdragon 430 processor, and 3GB of RAM.

Nokia will also be showcasing its comeback offering at MWC 2017(February 27 – March 2), and we hope that it will also shed some light on its next generation phones to stir more thrill.
