Rumors are spreading that new Apple TV will also have 4K as well as HDR support. It previously seemed that it will take years for Apple to feature this support, but according to MacRumors, it turns out that Apple might finally be releasing the updated version of TV.

Moreover, MacRumors report also suggests that iTunes has already started listing the movies as supported by 4K and HDR in purchase history of users. This implies that digital storefront of Apple as well as other Apple devices will also be supporting high-quality videos in near future.

However, users are not able to currently download the movies in 4K and HDR support, as the media content featuring 4K and HDR only shows up in the purchased history of users.

This also does not suggest that Apple might have done that unintentionally, so in future we can strongly expect that Apple TV will include 4K and HDR support.
