iTunes Listing Movies with 4K and HDR Support, Apple TV Update Hint

  MPC Team

Apple is near to launch update version of Apple TV with 4K and HDR support. Rumors of the support aren’t new as they’re into headlines from the last couple of months. MacRumors reported that the iTunes has started listing out movies with 4K and HDR support in the purchase histories of the users.

To make it clear, downloading a movie from iTunes now in 4K and HDR is impossible and the support options are provided only in the purchase history. On the other hand, it is hard to believe that Apple could add such tags unintentionally if those aren’t supposed to work.

MacRumors is also telling us that the tags are appearing on the movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Passengers suggesting that Columbia Pictures and Warner Bros Studios are taken on board by the company to offer users the high resolution movies.

Apple announces about the new products in fall season normally, so it is expected that the announcement on Apple TV update would be heard soon.
