LG has already confirmed its presence at MWC 2017. Recently, a teaser of the event is outed which also shows the presence of handset in the event with a tagline “Big Screen that fits”. The handset will be made official on February 26, 2017.
The device has 5.7-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a 9:18 aspect ratio, so it will appear a bit elongated when compared to regular displays. LG has given a special name to this display dubbed “Full Vision”.
This makes the handset almost bezel-less making it a tough competition for Samsung Galaxy S8.
Earlier today, we also learned that the LG G6 will release on March 10 in South Korea, but it may not hit US shelves till April 7.
Besides this, the LG G6 will be resistant to water and will feature a USB Type-C port. Under the helm will be top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, non-removable battery, and a dual rear camera. The handset will ship with Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
